It's time to FILL'R UP!

It's official! It's time to break out the pool! FINALLY!
We spent this afternoon Setting up the pool and filling it up! The kids are in eager anticipation of the 80 degree weather we are expecting all week!

Emily had an awesome tournament weekend! Her team won Three out of Four games!~

She had a almost perfect game yesterday. She pitched a AMAZING "no hitter" yesterday.

Emily has now pitched four"NO HITTER" games where she has shut down the other team.

Garage Sale Fever! What a success!!

What a fun weekend! Our weather was just perfect you couldn't of asked for a better weekend for Community Garage sale! I think we all got fried from the sun Today! We had the Jimmy buffet, Bob Marley and Steel band drum music jamin! Lot of fun just hangin with friends and see others we hadn't seen in a long time!
The McLean's come over and sold some stuff with us! What a darling couple! And such cute kids!

Here is my number one Sales team on the Summer Hut! We invited Megan Hart to help with sales on the Summer hut! We had Full Meal Deals (hot dog, chips and a drink) for $2 bucks!
We also sold candy bars and red vines and Jonathan cooked all the Chocolate chip cookies and all the Hot dogs. He was the master mind be hind the scenes. Now here was the master minds in front of the scenes! Grandma Carol and Megan! They worked the crowds like a dream! Mostly Megan and my boys were part of the team as well. It was a huge success with all the sunshine everyone was hungry and thirsty for something cold to drink!

Lots of fun hang'in around an catching up. Lots of selling and browsing! Are neighborhood was one of 4 other large communities doing garage sales this weekend!

Emily finally got to do some birthday celebration with her Friends this last weekend.

They celebrated by going to the move "Ghosts of Girls Friends Past" and than Pizza and sleep over in the tent in the back yard! They had a blast as you can see in the picture. Oh how fun to be fourteen again!

Recap of the last Several Weeks!

Weeks have been packed with lots of happenings! School is beginning to wind down with all the end of the year events. Carle has been busy with helping with scaffolding installing lighting and moving furniture so I can paint at Carols. And in between all this helpfulness he manages to keep things in order while I'm not home and improve the the pitching mound in the back yard for Emily.

Then on May 18th was My daughters Emily's 14th Birthday! Unfortunately Emily had the flu on her actual birthday, so this is a picture of the celebration a couple of days afterwords.

This week I got to go with Carol to some Granite supply houses. That was so much fun and very interesting! She has decided that along with the new wood flooring she will replace the kitchen cabinets and install Granite! all this is so exciting! Here is a picture of us going thru the granite warehouse.

So what does a place called Poo-Poo point, Parasailing and Chinese have to do with anything???

MOTHERS DAY!


Well... as the mom, I decided I wanted to torture my family and go on a hike my friend Robyn had told me about for celebrating Mothers day. It is a trail is called Chirico Trail http://www.pnwhikes.com/hike.asp?hid=Chirico%20Trail
and this trail takes you on a hike to Poo-Poo point! (No Joke) I think I know why they called it Poo-Poo Point! It's because you feel like Poo-Poo when you finally get to the top. LOL


Anyway it was a challenging hike almost straight up for 1.3 miles but, WOW... When you reach the top you forget all the huffing and puffing and the sweat dripping down. You have made it!


And Wow SO has everyone else apparently! They must of taken the a bus up that I didn't know even existed?? Hmmm... Anyway here is a slide show of our day. Hope you enjoy it! Alligators and Snakes Golore!!

Last Monday we saw "The Reptile Man!" Can I say anything more! He makes his rounds to the schools every year and it is Nathan's big highlight! He loves the Reptile man! You get to hold and pet and see up close all the deadly snakes, Lizards and alligators! SO fun!!

Panther Lake Elementry Reunion!

This Last weekend I attended a really fun Reunion!
Chris and I have been on Facebook lately, that is the big thing of late.
Anyway Chris and I began to run into old classmates from our Elementary School. Classmates we haven't seen some since Graduation.

Chris hosted a FB Pather Lake reunion at her home that was sooooo much fun! WE all really enjoyed our selves. It was much more fun that I ever anticipated. Thanks Chris.

Play house painting!

Well as some of you know I've been painting at Carols house and I'm not going to put anymore pictures up till the big reveal. But can I just say this... Your not going to recognize Carols home!

It has been an amazing transformation and a lot of fun being part of the process!

As you know I've been working over there for several weeks now. This is because the process has been slow and tedious but well worth the results. Part of the process has been repairing and refinishing her white molding details and wrapped windows, Repairing settling cracks and nail pops, and working with slap down textured walls and 17' High ceilings including the entryway with stairwell and last and not least caulking around all the decorative molding as well as door and window moldings. I've also been adding murals and paint details after double coating her never been painted walls where ever the finishing touch calls for it. The paint has not only has sealed her walls beautifully but gives the house the depth and detail it needed, highlighting it's special uniqueness. I call it my paint play house because that's what I'm doing over their "playing with paint!" It's been so fun to see the house transform and Carols face light up!
